‘The Song’

A while ago someone made a proposition to me to write a song together. Neither of us has ever seen the other one’s part… Today, sitting miles away from the place where we’ve met, I’m sharing my bitter-sweet part of the song bearing in mind the beautiful memories of that time.

If I ever had known

I wouldn’t tell you

If I wanted to stay

I wouldn’t tell you

If I needed your help

I wouldn’t tell you

If you were even alone

I wouldn’t tell you

What’s the point?

We’re alone

In every moment

Life is lonely

And no

Answers were ever coming

If you want anything

You keep on going

With the last scream for help

We’re both fading slowly

1:34

I was never really taught

To breathe solely

Who could ever have known?

We all fade promptly

Point of life is unknown

No one is saying sorry

How am I to follow?

Again, I’ve blown it

What’s the point (…)

‘Ode to attitudes and worries’

It scares me so

That life will go

And I won’t get a chance

To even glance

At everything I would love to taste

It scares me so

That I will grow

Out of being me

Before I can even see

It coming

It scares me so

That I will lose my flow

Lose what I love

And heaven above

Won’t give it back

It bugs me so

That you don’t want to know

Me before you start judging

Or even grudging

What I have

It bugs me so

That everything will go

So fast

Like a blast

If I enjoy it

It bugs me so

That you can end up so low

And it’s so much easier

Than the busier

Way to holiness

I enjoy it so

That I can throw

All of the above

Away to get lost in what I love

‘Silence’

I’m sitting in the empty room

Silence

I am in a class at school

Silence

Silence too in a forest

Silence in the night

It means fear

It means stress

Silence means rest

Silence means dreams

And calmly lifting chest

It’s always so different

Always brings another sound

A bittersweet song of silence

It’s honey for our hearts!
